Say What You Mean
Aubrey International supports plain English, clear drafting and communication that clients can actually use. The aim is to reduce confusion rather than hide behind jargon.
Promoting Clear Communication
The Plain English Campaign in the UK has long promoted straightforward and precise language. Aubrey International applies similar principles in correspondence, summaries, chronologies, client notes and practical action plans.
Simplicity Over Complexity
Where possible, we prefer direct wording, short explanations and clear structure over unnecessary technical language. Legal, tax or procedural terminology may still be needed, but it should be explained in context.
Integrating Plain English Principles
We aim to help clients understand what is happening, what their options are, what the risks are and what steps come next. Drafting should make the position clearer, not more intimidating.
Enhancing Communication Effectiveness
Clear writing improves engagement, reduces misunderstandings and helps clients, advisers and stakeholders move forward with fewer unnecessary disputes about meaning.
